The location is good. Fom Kinshicho Station, take exit 2. At B1 is the 24-hour Seiyu supermarket. At ground level, cross the road towards Termina building and walk for 5 mins to hotel. The hotel allows me to leave my luggage in the morning before check in, as well as after check out. As expected in Japan, the room is very small. The queen size bed is against 3 sides of the room, with very limited movement inside the room. The bed is comfortable, with a mini bar, water kettle, air con, Japanese channels TV. The bathroom only has hair shampoo and body wash lotion. There are free amenities at the lobby - toothbrush, hair brush, razor, tea bags, coffee sachets, etc. There are options whether to clean the room, only change towels or no cleaning required. Check in and out is via self-service kiosk in front of the reception. Overall, it is recommended to stay in this hotel and explore Tokyo and its surrounding regions.

Convenient location: the hotel is a 5-minute walk from Kinshicho JR station and on the Hanzomon metro line which made it convenient to get to most major sights in the city. Sumida City is a calmer ward, a bit less touristy, but it suited our preferences. It's about a 20 or 30-minute walk to the Skytree and probably a 40 minute walk to Taito City ward where the Senso-ji temple is. Kappo Kinari is a hidden gem sushi restaurant super accommodating and hospitable to tourists. But beware, as this is a less touristy area overall, some sushi restaurants are not as accessible in that they require that you book ahead or speak Japanese to be able to dine there. There are a couple of shopping malls within walking distance. Lots of other food options, too. Room was tight but was as expected. The room was clean and bed was comfortable and large.

Hotel staff was fabulous! Extremely helpful and polite. I made an error in my booking and got the ages of my children entered incorrectly and hence unable to stay at the original room I booked. The reception staff (forgot his name but he was a Japanese American) was extremely patient and helped me through the whole re-booking process and even cancelled the original booking on their end without any charges. Room is clean and neat. Not most spacious but big enough. I had 2 connecting rooms so that was helpful. The location is also great - better than I thought. Just a shame I didn't have enough time to explore the area. Tokyo is massive and requires more than a few days to really explore each area!

The location is perfect. It is away from the very touristy areas, which is actually a great thing. While it is still in a busy neighborhood, it is mostly frequented by locals, so we got to experience a different side of Tokyo compared to staying somewhere like Shibuya. The hotel is extremely close to the station, which made getting around the city very convenient. Also, the cleanliness was excellent and everything was spotless. The reception staff were always helpful. They spoke English and assisted with everything we needed, including helping us arrange Yamato service to send our luggage.

Oliver

Stayed here a few times and love the area, and how easy it is to get everywhere from the train station. There are lots of shopping malls nearby and restaurants, and the hotel staff are very friendly. Very hard to beat at the price. Rooms are small but this is no problem if you’re spending your whole day out and about. If you want the best coffee nearby, go visit Macchinesti Coffee in Sumida, a ten minute walk.
